COVID-19 Fitness Center Guidelines
After an extended hiatus due to COVID-19, we’re pleased to announce that the Fitness Center at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital has reopened.
We look forward to having our staffed on-site facility provide services to help members achieve their fitness goals. Of course, the fitness center staff will take the necessary precautions to help ensure a safe and healthy environment. Please review these important changes below:
The center will adhere to the CDC guidelines as well as orders by the state and the city for reopening.
Members must reserve a time slot to use the facility because the number of people in the facility at one time will be limited. Each visit is limited to one hour, including time in locker room and on the exercise floor.
To reserve your time slot, please call the fitness center at 215-612-4576 for instructions on how to access the MindBody app. Reservations may not be made more than 24 hours in advance.
Members will be allowed in the fitness facility during the staffed hours of Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Masks must be worn while in the fitness center.
Certain cardio machines have been designated for use to encourage social distancing. Mats will be limited; members are encouraged to bring their own mats.
The facility will be cleaned and disinfected frequently; the exercise equipment will be cleaned and disinfected after each use.
Ample disinfectant supplies will be available for members to use on equipment. Please adhere to all guidelines posted in facility.
Only outdoor group exercise classes will be offered until further notice.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. The Fitness Center staff looks forward to seeing members again and working with them to achieve their health and fitness goals.
To join or if you have other questions about membership, please contact Jamie Wiedeman, Program Manager, at 215-612-4576 or Jamie.Verdini@jefferson.edu.
